the word passion is too loaded of a word. to me it seems to imply a strong will, attachment and absorption. i know that is not what k means.
what he is talking about and there isn't a good word for it that i know of, is that attentive "awareness" of "what is" before the associative process of memory begins its translation of "what is" into words and images.
